I would like to reproduce an article, part of an article, a figure or a table originally printed in one of the Society's journals. How do I obtain permission?

Permission is normally contingent upon seeking the Society’s written consent. To apply online, please fill out the Permission Request Form. Permission will not be withheld unreasonably.

Authors may reproduce their own articles originally printed in the Society's journals without obtaining prior permission, subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the Copyright Information page.

I need information and articles for my research project. Can you help?

Unfortunately, the Society is unable to provide specific information to help with individual research projects. We recommend that you search the our journal issues, use a search engine (such as Google, Yahoo!, PubMed, Google Scholar or PsycINFO), or visit your local or university library.

Society members can get access to the psychology journal archive at Senate House Library in London as one of their membership privileges.

I would like to place an advert or insert in one of your journals. Is this possible?

Yes. All our journals accept paid adverts and inserts, and advertising in our journals is one of the most effective ways of reaching specific targeted groups of psychologists. Prices vary from journal to journal. The Society produces a leaflet called Advertising in Journals, which gives further details and is available to download for free.

How can I find out the advertising deadlines for your journals?

We do not currently publish a list of advertising deadlines. Please contact the Journals Department (e-mail: mail@bpsjournals.co.uk; tel: +44 (0)252 9580) for further details.

I'm looking for information about a publication not listed on your Journals website. Can you help?

Not all of the Society's publications are classified as journals. We recommend you visit our main Publications page or do a search on the Society's homepage for the journal, article title or author(s) you are looking for.

Unfortunately, the Society is unable to provide information about publications produced by other organisations. We recommend that you use a search engine (such as Google, Yahoo!, PubMed, Google Scholar or PsycINFO) to find out who publishes the journal you are looking for, and visit their website for more information.

I haven't found the answer I was looking for. What should I do?

Please see the specific subject FAQs below or contact the Journals Department (e-mail: mail@bpsjournals.co.uk; tel: +44 (0)116 254 9580) and we will be pleased to help.
