I warrant and undertake to the British Psychological Society that:
- I am author of the manuscript (the 'Work') submitted to you for consideration for inclusion in the 'Journal'.
- The full list of authors for the Work is as listed on the Work. No other persons were involved in the creation of the Work.
- I have obtained the consent of all other authors listed on the Work for submission of the Work to the Journal.
- The Work is original and has not been wholly or substantially copied from any other work or material and that inclusion of it in the Journal will not infringe the rights of any third party.
- The Work has not previously been published elsewhere either in hard copy or electronic form.
- The Work is not currently under consideration for publication in any other books or journals.
- I have not granted or assigned any rights of any nature in the Work to any third party in any part of the world.
- The Work does not contain anything that is libellous, defamatory or indecent and does not infringe the statutory or common law rights of any third parties.
- I am not aware of any claim or action relating to the infringement or misappropriation of any copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right currently exists or is threatened in respect of the Work.
I irrevocably and unconditionally waive all moral rights to which I am now or may at any time be entitled under section 80 of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 and under similar laws in force from time to time and I declare that this waiver shall operate in favour of the British Psychological Society its licensees assigns or successors in title.
I undertake to indemnify the British Psychological Society against all and any loss, damages or costs sustained by the Assignee arising out of any breach of any of the above warranties and, at the request of The British Psychological Society, to provide all reasonable assistance to enable The British Psychological Society to resist any claim, action or proceedings brought against it as a consequence of that breach.
