About UsThe Journals of the British Psychological Society form an essential part of the Society's mission to advance and disseminate psychological knowledge. With a publishing history spanning over 100 years, our journals portfolio is at the forefront of the psychology community with international contributions and readership. Our flagship journal, The British Journal of Psychology, was founded in 1904 by James Ward and W.H.R. Rivers who wished to create a publication that reflected the enthusiasm towards psychology at the turn of the century. In 1914, it was acquired by the British Psychological Society and provided a basis on which new journals were launched into other more specific subject areas. Currently, we have 11 titles with the newest addition, Journal of Neuropsychology, launched in 2007. The Journals Team is renowned for its personal service to authors, readers and customers and is happy to advise on all publishing matters. As members of the Association of Learned & Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) and UK Serials Group (UKSG), we stay abreast of the latest innovations and thinking behind modern-day publishing practices and technologies. |
